One of the key elements in the Downtown Kingston! Strategic Plan involves maximizing economic development opportunities by encouraging, supporting and initiating activities that are beneficial to the downtown core.
This would include, among other things, maintaining a listing of vacant retail and office space downtown, conducting research that would enable and encourage businesses to locate here, providing training and networking options for existing businesses, and working closely with the City of Kingston on various projects and issues that directly affect the overall health and prosperity of Downtown Kingston!. |
