Committees

Our Committees are lead by a member of our Board of Management, formed from Downtown Kingston business owners and facilitated by Downtown Kingston! staff.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee works with staff to develop the Board meeting agendas and on Human Resource matters. This committee has no decision-making authority. Minutes of these meetings are presented to the Board for approval of actions and decisions taken. The Executive Committee is usually made up of 5 to 7 members and meets approximately 8 times a year. It is suggested that this committee consist of no more than 7 members otherwise it could go beyond quorum of the Board.
