Fright Night with the Stares

The Tir Nan Og

The scariest party in Kingston is happening at the Tir Nan Og with one of the best Rock and Roll Bands in Kingston – The Stares! There will be a costume content and scary fun happening all night!


Halloween Hack

Oct 31, 1pm to 4pm

Minotaur Games and Gifts

Join Kingston Maker Space at Minotaur and carve a pumpkin (BYOP!), make a mask or play with theatrical makeup to get ready for your evening!


Halloween with the band Slaves of Spanky and guests Not Cool

HARS Halloween Bash

Sat Oct 31, 9:30pm to 2:00am

The Renaissance, 285 Queen Street

Bust out your best costume and come and get down for a good cause on the dance floor! All funds raised from this event go directly to client services at HARS. DJ GonzoKitty will be spinning spooky beats all night long, there will be prizes for best costume, 50/50 tickets, candy treats and so much more – all for just $10!


The Haunted Walk Kingston

Enjoy a guided walk through the haunted Sydenham Ward this Halloween! The special Halloween walk called “Who is Kingston’s Greatest Ghost?” features favourite eerie tales from the Original Haunted Walk of Kingston tour along with a series of new interactive challenges and games.


Kingston Ghost and Mystery Trolley

Oct 30 and 31 starting at 6pm

Departing in front of the Tourist Information Office at 209 Ontario Street

 Peer into Kingston’s mysterious and paranormal past on the Ghost and Mystery Trolley Tour.

The evening tour departs at 6:00pm and lasts 90 minutes: it takes you off the beaten path to Kingston’s lesser-known and difficult-to-access haunted spots.  Hear stories from Kingston’s mysterious past from your tour guide, including some dating back 200 years. 

The Ghost and Mystery Trolley Tour will include some of Kingston’s darkest stories and best-kept secrets as it travels to:

  • Downtown Kingston
  • The Back of Fort Henry Hill and Deadman’s Bay
  • The Cararaqui Cemetery and the Grave of Sir John A Macdonald
  • The Rockwood Asylum
  • Kingston Penitentiary


Musiikki Monster Mash

Musikki Café, 73 Brock Street

Join the Musiikki crew for an amazing evening with local DJ ill Ferrel & Hailiah and her band. Costumes are encouraged, although not mandatory. Enjoy some live music, fantastic drinks off our new menu, and mingle with friends.

Downtown Kingston’s independent movie theatre is celebrating Halloween by screening the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. Costumes and props are encouraged!


Sir John’s Haunted House
